LITTLE FLUFFY CLOUDS
Jerry van de Beek - as a co-founder of Little Fluffy Clouds Jerry has directed a many award-winning commercials. He likes to experiment with different styles and looks ensuring that he's always at the forefront of new technologies. Staying hands-on, by working in 2D, 3D and live-action he experiments with the usual to produce the unusual. Jerry forged pioneering techniques for the seamless integration of traditional and digital animation, notably his proprietary digital referencing application, DIANA, which was used in award-winning industry commercials, Mainstay Up...Down, Up and Coca~Cola's, Delivery and Factory.
Jerry is an avid photographer using the medium as the means to telling a narrative in real time. Jerry is from The Netherlands but now lives very happily near mountain bike trails in California.

Betsy de Fries - writer, poet and mixed media artist - also Little Fluffy Clouds founder, in-house director and producer. For 25 years a member of the San Francisco art collective, Project Artaud, her checkered past includes theatres, nightclubs, trendy bars and restaurants. Prior to LFC Betsy was Senior Producer for New Media & Interactivity at San Francisco's legendary, animation powerhouse, Colossal Pictures. After many years spent on live action sets as a scenic painter, set dresser, stylist and art director, she opted for the relative sanity of emerging new media, producing, Where Next Columbus: Mission to Mars, an on going exhibit for NASA at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum. Betsy then joined the creative team at Apple Computer's Discovery/Zenda Studio. A stint at Paramount Film's Media Kitchen, producing and writing interactive television pilots, eventually led her back to the extremely production oriented world of commercials and finally to found Little Fluffy Clouds animation studio. Betsy is from the United Kingdom but now lives with her dog, JAX, in California. All latest work can be viewed on the LFC website with more on the aptly named blog, a cumulus.
