| In service to the concept and the story, Curious' directors, designers and animators use a lot of different art and animation techniques. The methodologies are increasingly overlapping as more of the process and tools become digital. In addition to live action shooting and design / graphics, the main types of animation include stop motion, cel (aka 2D), and computer animation (CG or CGI). Other techniques include paper cut out, multiplane 2D, clay, rotoscoping, origami, digital compositing, etc. |
