Ward Sutton
Founded in 1966, Ward Sutton soon began drawing pictures. By sixth grade he was writing and illustrating his own comic books. Now he creates as an alternative cartoonist, illustrator, poster artist and animation designer. Ward’s animation work has been seen on HBO in the show Nerve.com: Downloading Sex (created with Curious Pictures) and Comedy Central, where he designed the opening sequence to the cult-favorite show "Strangers with Candy" as well as Nickelodeon, Showtime, TV Land, and Noggin. Illustration work includes The New York Times Magazine, Rolling Stone, Talk, Esquire, Time, Sports Illustrated, Entertainment Weekly and Premiere. His self-syndicated, weekly comic strip, Schlock’n’Roll, has been running in the Village Voice since 1998. In 2000 he developed a new bi-weekly cartoon called That’s Entertoonment! which runs in TV Guide.
