Douglas Keeve is a renowned photographer and director of films and commercials. His work has appeared in GQ, Italian Vogue, Esquire, Glamour, American Vogue and Interview. Clients have included Armani, DeBeers, Seagrams, Tommy Hilfiger, Victoria's Secret, Carolina Herrera, Vogue, and L'Oreal.
Keeve's feature "Unzipped" was one of the top-grossing documentaries of all time and remains the ultimate behind-the-scenes peek into the world of fashion. In addition to this breakout film, Keeve has directed "Naomi Conquers Africa," a VH1 special documenting supermodel Naomi Campbell's visit to South Africa to see "Grandaddy" Nelson Mandela; and "Seamless," a Sundance Channel doc produced in collaboration with Vogue editor Anna Wintour, which follows the efforts of three up-and-coming designers to get their fashion lines off the ground.
His documentary about celebrity hotelier Ian Schrager's makeover of New York's Gramercy Park Hotel premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in April and is set to air soon on the Sundance Channel. Keeve is also working on a web series, "Heidi Saves Fashion Week," in which supermodel Heidi Klum battles the forces of evil who are intent on destroying the fashion world. He is in negotiations to partner with Ryan Murphy, creator of Nip/Tuck, to co-create, co-produce and direct a network
series set in the fashion industry. |
